Urban underprivileged communities from Jakarta and 14 other cities across Indonesia have gathered for the "zero-waste" art festival.
Running from Tuesday through to Human Rights Day next Monday, the event invites people from different social and economic backgrounds to come together to raise awareness of poverty issues.
The event showcases a number of art performances and workshops designed to educate and empower marginalized communities.
Music collaborations between the Five Mountains community, a farmer community, and Kutchhiyat from India will feature at the festival.
Participants also are exhibiting recycled products including food and drinks in recycled containers, while visitors are being encouraged to compost their organic waste produced at the event.
