Jero Wacik, who recently resigned as the Culture and Tourism Minister, would occupy the same post in the upcoming cabinet after being interviewed by President-elect Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
"President Yudhoyono instructed me to use an improving image of Indonesia to lure more tourists and increase state revenue," he said as quoted by Kompas.com
Jero is one of key figures behind the victory of Yudhoyono and his running mate Boediono in the July 9 Presidential Election.
Earlier this month, he relinquished his ministerial post and preferred to be installed as a new legislator.
