The World Cup trophy arrived in Jakarta on Sunday as part of its global tour, but it will be only displayed to the public on Tuesday.
Coca-Cola Brand Manager Bobby Benarto Suadi told kompas.com the trophy would be exhibited at the Jakarta Convention Center’s Assembly Hall in Central Jakarta for the public, starting from 9 a.m. The organizing committee will allow the public to take a photo session along with the trophy.
The trophy is being kept in an undisclosed place until its public disclosure.
Bobby said the trophy had visited three other Asian countries – Calcutta, Ho Chi Minh and Bangkok – prior to its trip to Jakarta. It will tour 83 countries before it will be up for grabs in South Africa this summer.
