Actor and TV presenter Ebet Kadarusman died on Saturday morning after going into a coma earlier this week. He was 75.
Ebet went into a coma Wednesday during his treatment for stroke at Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung, West Java.
“He has been in critical condition since last night. The family [take his death] wholeheartedly [because] this is the best for Kang Ebet,” Nike Mariani, Ebet's niece, said Saturday as reported by kompas.com.
The funeral is to be held at a family cemetery in Ciburani, Bandung, around noon Thursday.
Ebet pursued his career working as a presenter for ABC radio in Australia. He received an honorary doctorate degree from a state university for his contribution to national arts development.
