Ranomi Kromowidjojo has won her third gold medal during the final day of the World Short Course Swimming Championships 2010 in Dubai.
After the 100m freestyle and the 4 x 100m freestyle, the Dutch swimmer from the northern city of Groningen also beat all her opponents in the 50m freestyle in a time of 23.37 seconds, just a little slower compared to the world record (23.25) set by compatriot Marleen Veldhuis. Team mate Hinkelien Schreuder won the silver medal in a time of 23.81. Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace, from the Bahamas came third in 24.04.
