Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at his Puri Cikeas residence, Bogor, West Java Province, on Saturday, made phone calls to junior high school student achievers in a few Indonesian provinces.
The head of state on the occasion was accompanied by First Lady Ani Yudhoyono, Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam, and officials from the national education ministry.
Yudhoyono called students who had received the highest scores in the recent national examination 2010. They were in Bali, East Java and Central java.
He spent around 15 minutes on the phone with each of the outstanding students.
The first calls were to two students in Bali, Ni Made YuliLestari who got 9.95 in the examination score, and Ni Kade Indra Puspayanti (also 9.95).
The second call was to Bambang Agus Susetyo in Tulung Agung (East Java ), whose test score was 9.38.
The third call was to Fitrian Dwi Rahayu in Karang Anyar (Central Java), whose score was 9.95.
