“… The Shift in Human Nature

You're starting to see integrity change. Awareness recalibrates integrity, and the Human Being who would sit there and take advantage of another Human Being in an old energy would never do it in a new energy. The reason? It will become intuitive, so this is a shift in Human Nature as well, for in the past you have assumed that people take advantage of people first and integrity comes later. That's just ordinary Human nature.

In the past, Human nature expressed within governments worked like this: If you were stronger than the other one, you simply conquered them. If you were strong, it was an invitation to conquer. If you were weak, it was an invitation to be conquered. No one even thought about it. It was the way of things. The bigger you could have your armies, the better they would do when you sent them out to conquer. That's not how you think today. Did you notice?

Any country that thinks this way today will not survive, for humanity has discovered that the world goes far better by putting things together instead of tearing them apart. The new energy puts the weak and strong together in ways that make sense and that have integrity. Take a look at what happened to some of the businesses in this great land (USA). Up to 30 years ago, when you started realizing some of them didn't have integrity, you eliminated them. What happened to the tobacco companies when you realized they were knowingly addicting your children? Today, they still sell their products to less-aware countries, but that will also change.

What did you do a few years ago when you realized that your bankers were actually selling you homes that they knew you couldn't pay for later? They were walking away, smiling greedily, not thinking about the heartbreak that was to follow when a life's dream would be lost. Dear American, you are in a recession. However, this is like when you prune a tree and cut back the branches. When the tree grows back, you've got control and the branches will grow bigger and stronger than they were before, without the greed factor. Then, if you don't like the way it grows back, you'll prune it again! I tell you this because awareness is now in control of big money. It's right before your eyes, what you're doing. But fear often rules. …”

Yogyakarta to offer volcano tours in Merapi area

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Yogyakarta administration and the local travel agents` association are preparing a tourism package offering volcano tours to tourists, an official said.

"We are still discussing the possibility of promoting volcano tours to tourists with the Sleman district administration," chairman of Yogyakarta`s travel agents association Edwin Ismedia Himna said here on Monday.

Edwin said the volcano tours would be included in a tourism package titled "Go Jogja." The package was an effort from both the local government and the travel agents` association to promote Yogyakarta`s tourism after the Mount Merapi eruptions last month.

"Our staff is still evaluating the best and safest stops on the volcano tours in the Pakem, Kaliadem or Cangkringan areas," he said adding that he would start promoting the volcano tour package after the government had lowered Mount Merapi`s danger status to the safe level.

Meanwhile, the secretary to the Directorate General of Marketing at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Winarno Sudjas, expressed his support for the idea of conducting volcano tours in the Mount Merapi area.

He said the tours could become a new attraction for tourists and also help the local government lift up Yogyakarta`s tourism business after the Mount Merapi eruptions.

Earlier, the Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation Center (PVMBG) on Friday (Dec 3) morning had lowered Mount Merapi`s danger status` from beware to alert level.

Based on visual observation and monitoring using special instruments, it can be said that Mt Merapi`s activity has dropped, the center`s chief, Surono, said.

However, he asked local people to remain aware of a possible threat from the volcanic activity such as hot clouds and cold volcanic mudflows in several rivers whose upper reaches were located near Mt Merapi`s peak such as the Boyong, Gendol and Kuning.

Surono advised people, especially those living near the rivers, to remain alert toward possible cold volcanic mudflows since Indonesia was still in the rainy season.

"An early warning device has been set up in the rivers to detect mudflow floods," he said adding that some 150 million cubic meters of volcanic materials had recently settled in the Boyong, Gendol and Kuning rivers.

Mt Merapi, the world`s most active volcano, had erupted repeatedly in the past two months but its most fatal eruptions occurred on Oct 26 and Nov 5.

At least 259 people had perished and many others sustained burns and became displaced by the eruptions.

The total number of refugees being sheltered in 639 refugee centers in Yogyakarta and Central Java reportedly reached 367,548.
